I’m Sally Orchard, and I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 30 years — ever since I was the kid who loved putting makeup on my dolls and was obsessed with the fashion and beauty world.

I trained in beauty therapy to learn makeup, but I mainly taught myself makeup. I worked for skincare companies in London, which I loved, but I was always the person who would do any makeup lessons or makeups that came in. I did weddings, but makeup wasnt that popular for weddings then.
​
Once social media came about weddings suddenly became more popular. I did a course in photographic makeup in London, which propelled my makeup career to weddings.
​
I moved back to Cornwall and found that their was a lack of makeup artists offering good quality amkeup, so I started teaching students, so I could grow a team who could support me on larger weddings.
Over the years I have taught many makeup artists who have now become very successful in their own rights and its lovely to see them thrive.

She also did my bridesmaids and my mum, and everyone looked amazing. She managed to get us all ready right on time without any stress, which made the whole morning run so smoothly.

Our team works across Cornwall and the South West, specialising in bridal and special occasion hair and makeup. We’re known for natural, polished looks, calm wedding mornings, and looking after our clients properly from start to finish.
